I am using the IPP 10.5 with the last iPADOs. I had the 12.6.5.3 version from iTunes (the last one which allow moving back and forth IPAs from the App Store into the device, backups you made), but when I try now it says the following:

"The required software is not installed."

This link seems to suggest a workaround but I am afraid of doing something and installing a newer version. I don't want to lose the IPA/App Store from iTunes.

As far as I know the only downside was not being able to update the device (iOS) using this old iTunes. But even so I believe there was a way to bypass this, by changing some of the files inside the 12.6.5.3 EXE.

P.S. The only thing I did recently was updating Windows 10 64-bit. Maybe that accounts for this change.

Try it on Windows 11! :p
I am quite sure one of these three things happened regardless of the OS used:

1) I need to format the hard drive and reinstall everything for iTunes to work, because the current instalation has been corrupted with newer stuff;

2) I need to find a way to remove all Apple information (meaning files and a thorough uninstall, deleting regedit keys) from my current Windows 10 system, because something new is here that is preventing this old iTunes to work. If I can do this I don't need a format;

Or 3)

This iPAD is not being recognized anymore because the last iPADOs can't ever work again with this old iTunes.

I don't believe 3) is happening, so I need to know at this moment how can I do 2) if possible.

Why do I suspect 1) and 2)?

Because I did this here:

If I am not mistaken whenever you put anything iTunes related that is new in your WINDOWS system you need to get rid of it otherwise either iTunes will be corrupted and even if you reinstall 12.6.5.3 it will not work somehow.

So how do I remove all Apple traces from Windows? There must be some driver or anything iOS here besides iTunes.

I'll try today this Windows program:

Later I'll post here if it worked.

P.S. After removing iTunes I saw these here:

It must be them.

It worked! After removing the traces I mentioned before then the 12.6.5.3 recognized the iPAD again after a reinstall.

I also took the opportunity to disable automatic backups which are annoying when we are syncing multiple times with iTunes, in my case I rearrange icons (which never works properly if we don't use iTunes) and make a backup from the apps (IPA files).
