iTunes 12.7.3 issue?

On Sierria 10.12.6, at times while browsing in (mostly in Apple music and downloading for offline listening), iTunes slows to basically unresponsiveness. (Attached), even though its ok in Activity manager

This happens most of the time when large amounts of downloads are in queue..

GUI interface behaves erratic.... , and iTunesConvertHelper shows as "using sufficient energy". sometimes fans spin high..

Is there a fix for this ? As i believe this is new issue after latest iTunes was installed.
