I've noticed that whenever I manually change the album art on songs in iTunes 12.9, the song adds on 20 or so additional seconds at the end and repeated the last 20 seconds of the song. Anyone else notice this or know how to prevent iTunes from doing this?

That's a weird one.
My album art just occasionally decides to get lost or a few albums.
Some folk are having trouble with tracks that terminate 20 seconds or so early. I'm not sure they ever found a solution but the threads are on here, and worth looking for. It sounds like a related bug.
