Hi.
All my music library is manically organized. Every song has the album artwork.
Yesterdays 2 of my artist (i.e. Sodom in the picture attached) has them artwork missing from "artist view" and I don't know why?
How can I solve this without deleting song and re-adding them? I don't want to lose every single play count..

It's only two covers so easiest way is:
-google for cover image and download it
-go to iTunes, and open "Get info" on the artist with missing artwork and leave it open
-go to downloads folder, grab your cover picture and move it to iTunes get info window and put in a small square on top left.
-and that's it ;)

Ps. sorry i missed it's artist artwork. So you have to check the first album cause iTunes is showing the artwork of the first album as an artist cover.

Possible reason...if you add manually the artwork it goes into song files. If you use iTunes "get album artwork" it's not. It goes into iTunes album covers folder. So maybe you just deleted it? I know you didn't...
Just for future it's best to manually add artworks (they stay in song files so they got a lil bigger) so if you change your mac or smith you just add music to iTunes and covers are already there.

I actually use a script for itunes that adds artwork into files.
As I said before all (and I mean all) my files have artwork within. I really don't know why this is happening.

BTW iTunes is not showing the first album as an artis cover. Check "Sum 41".. That's the last album..

Yes
I've seen this happen, then go away on its own. Restart, reboot, whatever; just wait a day or two and the art may magically reapper. iTunes is a little glitchy sometimes. All my tracks currently have artwork, and AFAICT iTunes is showing the images properly.

So let's wait..

Hmmm ok my iTunes is showing first album as artist cover...nevermind :D
To speed up whole process of waiting just delete iTunes cover cache folder and let iTunes cache it one more time ;)
