So based on all the iTunes 12 leaks we have seen so far, I have made an icon which I am 99% sure will look similar to this.

Guys! Guys! Hey guys! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey listen! Hey guys!

I figured out how to make shapes and gradients in a vector editor!

Hey guys! Hey! Look what I did! Hey! Hey guys! Hey!

They are just stylizing the current iTunes icon to look like iOS 7. Look at the dock on your Mac for 1 second and think about how that wouldn't work. The iPhone and Mac have two different design aesthetics.

If they did anything, I think they would only flatten it a little to look more like the iBooks icon. It's a very subtle flattening.

Forgot about that one completely. I guess I haven't been spending enough time running the latest and greatest Mac OS ;-)

That's an example of a flatter, more iOS 7 like, OS X icon. It still has that roundness to give it extra dimension on the outer part of the orange.

One great thing about Mac OS X is it's really easy to use whatever icon you like for an app :)

No need to be rude.

Maybe it was a little rude, but it was kinda cute in that it highlighted the original poster's enthusiasm. I just imagine someone being so excited and wanting to share their little creation with people who would hopefully appreciate it.

Edit: Aaaand I just noticed that user was banned.
