iTunes 12 Sync Issues

Anyone else having problems with iTunes 12 syncing to their iPhone or other iDevice?

I swapped to an iPhone 4s the other day as I passed on my iPhone 5s ahead of the new iPhones arrival, everything seemed okay but it won't sync certain items added to my library after the initial sync, and I've also noticed that anything that's not on iCloud isn't playing.

It took a long time for the iPhone to sync and dos go through all 2000+ songs but attempting to play them just has the music app skipping to the next constantly and when revisiting them it has the downloading symbol on but won't download them or play them no matter what I try.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated? If it turns out its just iTunes 12 at the current state then how would I go about reverting to iTunes 11?

Only problem I'm having is that almost none of my Album Art for TV shows is getting synced to my devices.
I thought it was an iOS8 beta thing but now that iOS8 is GM it's still doing it.
Now I figure it must be an iTunes 12 thing.

Same problem here, really irritating.

It's strange, the same issue happened with iTunes 11 on the 4S, I synced my 6 up with iTunes 12 on my MacBook to try it out and it was fine. However, no matter what I tried with the 4s it would have problems with the songs (missing album artwork, songs disappearing for no reason, etc.) but upon restoring the 4s it downloaded another iOS8 to the device and this seemed to solve it. Strange, I thought that the GM for the 4s was the same as the GM on the other devices, but seems like this was the issue.
