iTunes 4.7.1

I'm still using iTunes 4.7.1 for my iPod nano. The reason being I only use it for importing my CD collection, and buying individual songs.

My question is there any security flaws I should worry about? I read that 4.8 fixed some security flaws.

Do you have an issue with upgrading?

we're are up to version 5.0.1 and there are many great new features that make it worth the upgrade. and its free, why not?

I've heard people have had problems with iTunes 5. That's why I didn't update to 5 as of yet.

5.0.1 fixed most if not all of the issues people were having. i have 2 macs and a pc running windows xp and none of them had any problems.

I've not had any problems with 5 either, but my question is more along the lines of if you are fearful of upgrading to 5, why did you never upgrade to 4.8 or 4.9?
