Itunes 5.0 troubleshooting for me. I NEED HELP

When I tried to download itunes 5.0, it let me, but when I click on the shortcut to it, my computer restarts and something comes up and says power enable or something. It also deleted my old itunes, but I still have all my music in my itunes folder. I just can't open itunes 5.0. If someone knows what to do PLEASE HELP.
