itunes 5 won't install...

i try installing itunes 5, but at the 'preparing' stage, a window keeps on popping up that says "please quick itunes to continue", even though itunes is quiet and not running.

i click and it comes up. i click and it comes up. i repaired permissions and ran mac janitor.


any suggestions? wait till they "fix the bug in itunes 5"?

that same thing happened to my freind im not sure what he did, but i know he did get it installed eventually

maybe try restarting then run the installer first thing when it comes back on.

Check and see if any "widgets" or other apps that you may have installed to run iTunes are loading/running!
