I have an iBook and an iMac. I upgraded both to iTunes 5. Recently I've been working so much from home...so I decided to delete the tunes from the iBook and just use iTunes sharing to listen to my main library on the iMac.

When I upgraded to iTunes 5, everything went haywire. iTunes on the iMac can see the iBook (though there is no music on the iBook...), but the iBook cannot see the iMac's iTunes. Both computers have "Look for shared music" and "Share my music" checked off in the prefs. The firewall has iTunes sharing enabled. I'm running Tiger on both. I've repaired permissions and done all kinds of maintenance tasks on both computers.

Any ideas?

Had no probs at all with my 3 machines since upgrade

ibook G3 and crappy work thinkpad can both share the itunes on my 17" imac G5 - no changes to any of the 3 machines required.
