iTunes 7.7.1 affecting jailbroken phones?

I was just in the process of jail breaking my phone when I got the notice about the iTunes update. Anyone who has a jailbroken phone having any problems since you upgraded to 7.7.1? Would hate to jailbreak then have issues...

i just pwned mine and restored it with the firmware. But now i get no service at all for some reason. I just recently upgraded to 7.7.1, idk if this affects it cause this is the first time ive jailbroken my iPhone 3G... help?

And have you upgraded iTunes to 7.7.1 already?

To the OP, I'd wait on updating until the Jailbreak folks test the new iTunes version and give the thumbs up.

i had the same problem of not getting service after jailbreaking my iphone
when you creating the custom .ispw using pwnage make sure you uncheck the activate my phone box

Thanks...I did a bunch of research and read all the problems people had and that one was all over the place. I think I have the new firmware created correctly, I did a backup before I started, so I'm all set to install it. I am going to wait on the 7.7.1 update though until I know its not affecting jailbroken phones.
