iTunes 8 removing all data when syncing ringtone?

Hey guys and gals, i searched for the answer to this and found this thread - https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/530842/

That picture is my problem, but it never get solved in the thread.

When i try to sync my ringtones, ( that i made by converting to AAC if that matters ) It tells my all my data will be removed if i do?

I have'nt tryed it..it would take me forever to put it all back on.

And yes my ringtones are the right size and format.

Is the anyway around this? Any help is appreciated

I had this same problem. I have my iPhone set to manually sync music and videos so I simply dragged and dropped the ringtones onto my iPhone in iTunes and it worked.

Even easier to understand:

- Drag and drop the ringtones onto your iPhone then they will sync.



That should work.
