Post updated: I had no problems.

I updated 9.2, waited for it to do it's thing. Then plugged in my iPod Classic. Sure, it LOOKS like it's having a problem (beach ball and all that). I just had to wait patiently for about 6-7 minutes for it to sync and do it's thing, and everything is fine.

A little patience goes a long way.
 
I'm still getting the message that my ipod is corrupt. Same message I've been getting since itunes 9 was released...
