iPod iTunes 9 - iPod / iPhone restore files WARNING

Just a pointer to everyone else - I've just noticed that after iTunes 9 was installed, all my iPod software restore files (.ipsw) were in the Trash. Check this out before you Empty Trash, just in case!

Interestingly enough, the 1.1.3 software was left in the proper folder ... I don't know why...

That's normal. It will trash the old .ISPW and create a new one. Fine.

But there were no new ones - the only one that was left there was the oldest software version I had!

Hmm, that's weird. I noticed the same thing. Are you upgrading to 3.1? If yes, don't worry about it. It will create a 3.1.ISPW. If not, I'm thinking it will re-download from your account.

I'm not updating yet (waiting for jb, but if it's not out by this evening, I'll be updating anyway ), but I just had to move all the ipsw's from my Trash back.
