ITunes 9 won't let me sync my Iphone 1st Gen

Itunes 9 will not let me sync my phone!
Freezes every time and i gotta force quit.

any ideas?

Works fine otherwise, though downloads seem to be a bit on the slow side, if that makes a difference.

I'm using Snow Leopard

Try a reinstall or a different usb port? Maybe reboot your computer?
