my sister and i both have ipod videos. we also have seperate accounts on my computer (win xp pro). would i be able to use my account on itunes to buy music for my ipod and then go to to her compuer account and buy music for her ipod? we both paid half for a prepaid card. and thats why i'm wondering if i can use the part i paid on my computer account and then log on as her on the computer but use my itunes account again to buy some stuff for her.

edit: also, how does itunes keep track of prepaid cards? does it just add the balance of the card to an acount or do i have to spend it right away?

You shouldn't have a problem doing this. iTunes assigns the value of the card to the account you signed in on, and then deducts what you spend from that account. You don't need to spend it all at once.

Well, to be specific, iTunes doesn't necessarily care where you download onto, but will automatically "Authorize" that computer to use the music you purchase. If you download somewhere other than your own computer (say at a library or something), you'll want to De-Authorize the computer after putting the download onto your iPod, so that you don't use up one of your 5 authorizations unnecessarily.

Otherwise, if you've got a laptop or something and login from the laptop from anywhere other than your house, iTMS will neither know nor care. Well, it might know, but it won't care.
