iPod iTunes and iPod touch transfer to Mac

Hi all, I'm planning on buying a MacBook after the october 14th update to the product line.

I currently have an iPod touch, synced with iTunes on my old PC. I'm not really worried about transferring the songs over to my new MacBook, I know how to do that. How would I go about transferring the apps? Would I just move the entire "iTunes" folder? Right now my music is stored seperately from my iTunes folder (data drive), so I would use senuti to transfer the music from my iPod to the MacBook.
