iTunes and multiple computers

I have two macs, a MBA that I got first and mostly use for work and a mac mini for home theater use. I only have one iTunes account, but music I bought from the MBA doesn't show up under purchased music on the mac mini iTunes. I'd like to download it to the mac mini where I'm currently keeping my library. How do I get it all on the Mac Mini?

You could go into the itunes store on your mac mini and go to your purchase history and re-download the music into the mac mini itunes library

Alternatively if you have home sharing on the mac mini and MBA, you should see the MBA under shared when in itunes on your mac mini click the music tab and select the music you want and then click import in the bottom right hand corner, this will import into your mac mini library

Thats what I find confusing, I wasn't able to see the albums in purchase history on the Mac mini.

I'll try to import them from the MBA. I rarely turn it on at home so I hadn't thought of that.

Is it just me that finds iTunes so confusing?

I just thought of something else, I don't think this would be the case, because it looks like you have made music purchases on the mac mini but are both computers authorized with your itunes account?

Also not sure of your setup, just throwing this out there, I know you mentioned you have one itunes account, does anybody else use your computers with a different itunes ID and the mac mini is logged into the itunes store under a different ID than the MBA.

Itunes could definitely use a refresh to make it much more easy to use for newer users. I just learn as I go and somewhat comfortable with it now.

Both are authorized with the same account and nobody else uses either. I'll print that article out. I added that article to my bookmarks bar.

I just noticed that a season pass that I bought last night on the mini is not shown when I go to the iTunes store on the MBA today, in fact the purchases are quite different. Both use the same e-mail and password for the iTunes store, shouldn't they both be the same?
