itunes and system update

Is anybody else having problems with the uk Itunes store or with OSX updater?

Both of these have just stopped working on my G5.

My internet connection seems fine otherwise, but the updater returns a timeout problem and the Itunes store wont come up.

Any ideas guys? What do I try?

I'm having a hell of a time with updater at the mo'. Can't get into my .Mac account either...

Actually, I can't even access the .Mac page properly on the Apple web site.

Sounds like it's probably a problem at either your ISPs or with Apple's site. However, I usually reset my modem/router when this happens just for fun.
