itunes and youtube over wifi problem

I have my iphone connected to my linksys wifi point at home, and everything works great, internet, email, itunes store, youtube the whole lot.

However when I connect to the wifi point at work I can surf the net, pick up my email, use google maps, weather etc but neither youtube or the itunes store work.

I can search for videos on youtube, but it won't play any of them back.

I don't think its a firewall issue as my work laptop can access youtube and itunes using the same wifi point.

Anyone any ideas?

could be a really slow connection or your work uses a proxy server (means that most viewed websites are stores on a server at your work address instead of repeatedly downloaded)

I don't think its a speed issue. We have an 8meg connection at work and the wifi point is 11G with a good signal strength.

I will ask about the proxy server, but I don't think we have one as I don't have any any options relating to that configured on either my iphone or my work laptop.
