ok so i finally discovered the beauty of applescripts and i found Doug's Applescripts so i downloaded a couple (iRate & juke-box) because they seemed like scripts i would actually use....so i followed the installation - making the scripts folder in User/library/iTunes and then adding the scripts to that folder, i then started up iTunes and the scripts appeared on the finder bar and i can click on them and everything...but they dont do anything, am i missing something?

You didn't say, but did you do as each script's Read Me directs?

also, i just tried running the script through the script editor and it worked just fine then, but through iTunes it will not work

Hmm. I'm afraid I can't venture a guess as to why the scripts function correctly in Script Editor, but do not from iTunes Scripts Menu. Have you run any disk diagnostics or repaired permissions recently?
