So iTunes sucks...

It broke my library, all jumbled etc etc. Tried to follow this support document - nothing.

iTunes then started deleting tracks that I owned when I tried to test if they were the right song. Bloody ridiculous. Can't find the songs on my Mac, anywhere.

BUT!

When I disconnected my iPhone from iCould my iTunes library was rescued, it is completely intact, all correct and everything is awesome *cue the Lego movie music* there!

QUESTION:

If i merge my iPhone music library to iCloud from my phone first, will it override my Macs library? This is what I want, but I always assumed that it went the other way...? i.e. Mac overrides iPhone.

Please help :)

If you want to port music back to your Mac, only option is using third party software like iexplorer to do such task. Iexplorer can even port your music back with music info stored on your iPhone, although this is a paid feature.

Hmmmm, I'll check it out.

I'll dive into my time machine and pull it from that. I have an old back up somewhere...
