I have some Bluray movies that came with a Digital Copy and an iTunes redemption code. The Digital Copy has to be in the optical drive before I can use iTunes to redeem my copy. I was able to use this feature about 3 weeks ago for Star Trek (2009 version). Now, I get nothing but a blank page after inserting the disc.

I have tried different versions of iTunes on MacOS and Windows7/10 without success.

Anyone come across a solution or experience the same issue?

Any information would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Are you sure the optical drive is reading the digital copy? From your description it appears the disk is not being read at all? Have you tried using another computer with an optical drive?

Yes, it definitely reads the disc. As soon as I put in the disc, it goes from my music library to the blank Digital Copy redemption screen and the disc icon appears at the top of the screen.

OK since the disk is being read, I would suspect the problem is on the Apple side. Maybe time to contact them and find out what has changed. Let us know.

I did some more checking and found posts from other forums with the same issue.

It is definitely an Apple issue and I'll be posting on their support forum too.

Edit 1: tried to contact Apple support via chat but that didn't work. Also posted the question in the iTunes store forum on the Apple website.

Edit 2: submitted feedback form to Apple re this issue with iTunes.
