Anyone have any errors in iTunes while trying to burn a cd? Mine stops have way and spits out the cd.. says something is wrong with the driver, I try it with Toast and I get the same thing, but the driver is fine as I just burned a cd last week.. any help?

I had the same problem and I narrowed it down to the buffer being underrun. As far as I am aware, iTunes at this time does not have a buffer underrun prevention so I used RoxioToast.

If this does not work -
1) try burning at a slower speed
2) update firmware

and make sure you have CLEAN CD's

here's a pic of what i get

That looks like more a hardware issue aka problem with the burner, not the software as such. Which burner do you have?

apparently there web site does not offer any mac updates anymore

Well my next step would be to contact ROXIO themselves and ask them...if they cant answer it...assume that it is hardware and forward it onto Apple

goodluck

I'm pretty sure it's the burner. I had the same issue on this imac. Well.. when I first got it it was fine, then to burn stuff I wouldn't be able to touch other appz or the cd will die. Now, nothing works. But then again, I got two dvd burners in other computers so it's all good. Except the PC is a pain in the arse to use.
