I'm looking to buy a new iPod and put all my cds on my mac.

However, I've been using iTunes fo over a year and only earlier this year did I tick the box that gets itunes to look-up CD meta info off of CDDB. Now I have a number of CDs that when I play them on the mac, iTunes brings up the standard 'Track 1' etc. listings, as I have played these prior to switching on the CDDB option. Is there anyway to force iTunes to look up the song info for these CDs?

Help please!

I doubt it will look up the information on an existing MP3.

If you have the CD, drop it in and re-import it.

Try Selecting an album an dthen from the Advanced menu, try selecting Get CD Track Names. I have heard this might work. I do not have any CDs that were imported like yours to test it with.

I love you both!

I put a previously semi-imported CD in the drive and selected Get Track names.

Perfect! You've solved my question.

Since your replies, I am now a very excited owner of a 20Gb iPod! :D :D :D

Right, I best get importing...

Thanks again.
