iTunes conflict with iPhone 3GS

I think it's ever since I bought an album from my iPhone I have had this issue where iTunes will crash whenever it detects my iPhone. I can't sync which also means I can't transfer my purchases over.

I've used a program called Senuti to gain access to my phone which works great except it can't see the album I bought with the iPhone, it is very strange and I'm wondering if anybody can help with this. maybe recommend another program that might see the music I've purchased. If I could get the album off and then wait for an update I'll be happy. I don't fancy repurchasing the music.

I can't even do a restore even if I wanted to because iTunes doesn't see the phone.

You're right, I solved it now anyway. It just took 30mins for itunes to think about what it was doing. Before I was force quiting after a minute of inactivity.

Now things are synced, senuti can see the purchased music.
