Hello Guys,

My App was made live about 2 months ago, I just got my first full month financial report, and it shows very small number of apps sold compare to the sales and trends report. It is only showing that 8 Apps were sold in Europe when Sales and Trends show 92 Apps sold in Europe. Do you guys know why is that?

The financial reports you get right now are just for the month of January. Is your 92 figure your total number since the app's been on sale? 92 vs 8 is a HUGE discrepancy.

Also, the sales and trends are just estimates and number of downloads. So if I have 5 devices with the same iTunes account and download an app on all 5, sales and trends will show that as 5 "purchases," but in reality it was only purchased once.

Yes that 92 is for the same month, I understand that a person can download the app on 5 different devices, but only purchase it once only, but that is not with every download.

If your app was downloaded a lot at the end of a "month", these won't show up as sales until the next month. That's because the data is from two different systems that are often several days out of sync. Also, Apple's reporting months are different from calendar months, look at the exact dates. Make sure to subtract out type "7" downloads, as those don't count as sales (they've already been purchased).
