iOS Itunes connect !

I have been busy with my app for 3 days already, I couldn't get my external testers to receive my invitation because I don't have a Marketing URL which is needed when you want to submit for beta app review in itunes connect ! Is there a way around that ?
I thought that marketing URL is optional ! Please help

For beta testing? I'm pretty sure I just made one up.

Get a free vanity web site (blog, etc.) somewhere and use that URL.

That trick no longer works. They have been rejecting apps when the URL doesn't go to a site that says something naming the app and/or the developer.
