Hello. I have a mid 2010 Mac mini and I just got a 2020 27” imac upgrade. I’m Excited! I want to bring the voice memos from my iPhone that I have in my iTunes over to the new iTunes. Will this method work? Seems super straight forward. Any help would be awesome. Thanks so much.

Seems to me that any audio file that you have in your current iTunes library will continue to be present in the Music app in your new iMac.

In any event, you still have the mini as well as the iMac, so if you run into some issue then the file will still exist there and you can figure out how to deal with it at that point.

Thanks for the reply. When you said the audio files will continue to be present in my new iMac, do you mean without me having done anything? When I log into the iTunes on the new iMac, you think the voice memos I have in iTunes will already be there? Thanks for the help.

Yes, that is what I expect will happen.
