I noticed that last week I was missing songs in my playlists on my iphone 6. So I resycned them with itunes. Then today when I tried to listen to some music all my music and playlists were all gone except for the most recent playlist that I had synced over. But under itunes it shows all my playlists and all the songs on my iphone but they aren't on the iphone. It also shows all the space that my music is taking up too. But when I try to play the songs directly from my iphone through itunes it shows "!" next to it which I'm guessing it can't find the songs.

How do I fix this? I tried resyncing the songs but nothing happens. Thanks

the "!" usually means the original file where the mp3 is located has moved from the original location you told itunes where it was. is your music stored on a removable or USB drive? something may be changing the file names or locations.
