iTunes does not Sync contacts (xp)

Hi guys,

I just took a step into the Apple world. I have an iPod and installes iTunes 5.0 and tried to sync with Outlook 2003, all on XP. Calender does work fine but no contacts at all are copied. I just dont know what to do? Can you guys help me?

I was able to fix a similar problem by synching while Outlook was offline. However, each time I sync while Outlook is connected, about 70% of my contacts are removed.
