It used to work just fine on my ordinary computer, but that computer died during a power cut and is currently being repaired (it's taking weeks -.-).
So I have two other computers, but neither of them detects my ipod in itunes. I plug my Ipod nano to my computer, then it starts charging, but the "don't disconnect" doesn't appear, and the ipod doesn't appear as a driver, nor does it appear in itunes. So I deleted itunes on both computers, and reinstalled, to see if it would work, and it didn't on either. I tried with another usb cable connected to the ipod, nothing changed. So I tried resetting the ipid using the select/menu and select/playpause thing, erm not sure what I was supposed to do with the disk mode. And well, here I am. I'm using windows Xp professional.
