Hey all, new guy in town. Lurking for ages, finally had a situation that needs your expertise.
I previously had deleted unnecessary iPhone backups from iTunes>Preferences>Devices>Device Backups. One of those did contain personal data, and that is the one I want to restore from.
I found it on my Time Machine, restored it to username>Library>Application Support>MobileSync>backup.
The problem is that iTunes doesn't recognize that I put a backup folder in there and it doesn't show it in Preferences>Device backups (or right clicking on iPhone in the left side of iTunes window)
Is there any way to force iTunes to see old backup folders?
Any other insights would be greatly appreciated.
