Has anybody used the DVD Archive?

I am looking for a way to have a backup of about 40gig of music in iTunes. Is iTunes smart enough to make multiple DVDs with one click of a button or will I need to make a play list for each DVD?

Any suggestions on backing up a lot of music quickly? May be easier and cheaper just to buy a second drive.

Just looking for opinions
