Hi Friends,

I purchased Prometheus HD from iTunes. Connected my laptop to Denon AVR-> Panasonc Plasma. Now HD video plays flawless when audio is Stereo track, when I change that to 5.1, video just got Freezes there and no playback of Video and Audio. Same thing is fine with VLC Player. I can play 5.1 Audio with VLC. Any Idea what could be wrong?

Thanks.

Any One? Here is the Mediainfo if it helps.

I'm having the same problem.

I've encoded DVD's on Handbrake using Stereo as first sound track and AC3 Passtrough (5.1) as a 2nd audio track.

In Itunes it plays Stereo flawless. If I switch to the 2nd track (Surround) it freezes the video and refuses to play. If I change back to stereo, it resumes playing.

I bought Casino Movie (De Niro) from Apple Store. There are two audio tracks too. Stereo and Surround (for 5.1). In this case Itunes play both audio tracks flawless and I even can check for 5.1 legit digital data on my receiver.

So there's clearly something different on Apple audio encoding and Handbrake encoding. Any ideas?
