Hi guys. I just recently had an issue with my 160GB iPod connecting to iTunes. Every time I would connect it would freeze the program despite being recognized by the computer. I had a separate with the iPod so I returned it to Best Buy and got a brand new one with my warranty. I plugged that one in just fine and loaded all my music. However I go to connect it again and it has the same problem. Anyone have any ideas how I can remedy this? Thanks.

me too

i have the same prob... 160gb ipod.. itunes freees when i plug it in.. it worked the first 3 times when i synced it .. need help

I used to have the same problem.

Try to go to the "home" sector. (menu>menu>menu>menu)
plug it in and just wait for a few secs.

otherwise try to turn your ipod off and plug it in. iTunes recognizes your iPod directly.

Hope it helps. For my iPod it worked.
