Hi with the end of iTunes, will the iTunes gift cards keep working. As I have quite a bit of iTunes gift cards left. Will I still be able to keep buying apps with it? Thanks.

It shouldn't change anything. iTunes gift card were previously applied to your Apple account and could be used for Apps, in app purchases, music (including Apple Music subscriptions), movies & books - this should be the same going forward.

What about ones that haven’t been applied to account yet?

Chances are they will rename the cards at some point. They will still have a way to apply gift cards, whichever name they carry.

I think it would make the most sense for Apple to consolidate to a single gift card that can be applied to apple Store app, Music, TV, etc. Since many people have a single Apple ID, it would just be less confusing.

They still need to do something for those of us who were loyal .mac or .me customers. I would love to be able to transfer all of my iTunes purchases and credits to my .me iCloud account.

I think everyone’s getting the wrong end of the stick with this iTunes ending announcement.
The iTunes Store is still going to be around so nothing will change with regards to the gift cards.
The only thing that’s changing as far as I’m aware is the iTunes program that’s available on a Mac which is being brought more in line with iOS devices.
