I have $200 worth of iTunes gift cards and am wondering if it is possible to use these when purchasing movies directly from Apple TV? I know I can download from iTunes and use it, but you cannot download HD movies through iTunes and those are what I really want to be downloading.

You can't enter gift cards directly into ATV, but if you have that $200 as a credit on your iTunes account, the ATV will use that during rent/purchase.

no it is not a credit on my iTunes account, just gift cards I received for xmas. Is there a way to transfer those into an iTunes credit?

I believe you can do this within iTunes. I don't remember the exact steps though. It might be an option through the store.

Redeem all your cards in the iTunes store, and they magically transform into credit. :)

Thanks Kevin! I will look into it and post back what I find out in case others were wondering the same thing.
