Alright. I'm p#ssdd!
Ive heard the arguments that why we don't get HD movies for purchase in Oz is that our Internet model is based around volume plans and that buying HD movies from iTunes would perhaps impact on our volume of usage. And they're right....someone on a 20gig plan a month would have real difficulty. However...we can rent the bloody thing! So how is this different? Is the size of a movie purchased larger then the rented HD version?
C'mon Apple...get it together! With BRay here, I don't buy DVDs...and with digital HD content available, I'll be damned if I'm gonna buy the lower spec version! I'm happy to buy. I want to buy! I NEED to buy!
If this is a result of the studios weird sense of profit making, then they're totally mixed up.
Id rather torrent a HD version then buy a low res version. Your losing money! Help me to help you!
Fight piracy...sell the HD version. Make some money....sell the HD version. Gain some fans....sell the HD version.
Tv is here to stay...get with the program! Were buying the hardware....sell the HD versions and impress us with your movies! Woo us. Cajoule us....knock our socks off. JUST SELL THE BLOODY HD VERSION!
Ok...I've vented now. I'm happy!
