iTunes HD or SD tv shows?

It depends on whether you want to watch it in Standard Definition or High Definition. The HD movies and TV shows you can download from iTunes are only available in 720p anyway, so it would look as good on the iPad as it would on anything else.
You need to decide if you want to pay the extra $20 for the extra bit of quality. I would.
