I have deleted all itunes software and reinstalled it twice, i now have itunes 4.5.I have burn't discs using both the finder and toast titanium so what is going on.
i hope someone can help me as its driving me nuts.
any help would be greatly appreciated
thanks scott.

2 sugestions. Repair permissions and delete the iTunes plist file.

Number 1: Have you checked out this page that troubleshoots burning a CD in iTunes?

Number 2: Repairing permissions: Insert your Panther (or Jaguar disk), boot from it, go to Disk Utility, go to the First Aid tab, and click on the Repair Permissions button. Let the process finish, then you can start back up from your computer as normal.

Number 3: Removing the iTunes preference file: Go to: [user]/Library/Preferences/ and delete the file named com.apple.iTunes.plist.

Number 4: What type of files are you trying to burn? If any of these files are corrupted, or incomplete, then the files can cause problems come CD-burning time. Also, are you burning files with varying types (AAC, mp3, WAV, etc.)? Try burning a CD with a single file that you know (or think) will work, and then test to see if it works.
