After updating to iTunes10.5 and to ios 5, I no longer have iTunes help on my PC. I get the following message:

NOT FOUND

The requested URL/itunes/win/10.5 was not found on this server.

Apache 2.2.3 (Oracle) Server at help.apple.com Port 80

What does this mean and what is my next move?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I went to the link you provided and followed the instructions but the help feature still gives me the same message. Any other ideas?

reporting same problem

yeah, got back from holidays, had a day or two to get things up and running so updated everything to latest files, including iOS5 on the iphones.

I had a twinge of doubt about this, as previously i had experienced problems with x.0 releases, but went ahead anyway.

yeah, now my keyboard shortcuts don't work in itunes, and when i go look for help, or the dropdown menu item keyboard shortcuts, i get the error message reported above.

have done the usual - reboot machine, uninstall reinstall, but alas, to no avail.

any suggestions? anyone else aware of this problem?

This happened to me in one of the previous versions of iTunes. (I just checked the newest installation to be sure that I wasn't afflicted with the glitch again.)

I had to go to the main download page at Apple.com for iTunes and do the whole email address, do I want email updates for info/offers, blah, blah, blah & then download the whole file for the newest version. Install the file and it should all be there when you're finished.

It's the link in Post #2, above. :)

Last post didn't work for me :(. Help came up with message "Not Connected to Internet" but my browser and email client are working. My IT pro suggests I wait for next iTunes update. Has this bug been reported to Apple?

Do you happen to know whether you are behind a firewall? If you are behind a firewall it maybe blocking access to the help function in itunes. Itunes for Macs have Helpviewer. Windows I think has ItunesHelp. If in fact itunes is behind a firewall, check the incoming/outgoing connection (port 80) to see whether it has been blocked. Or if you work for a company have someone in the IT Dept take a look. If it is not a firewall issue, then I don't know or have any other suggestions. Hope you get it figured out.
