iTunes in the cloud question

Possibly dumb question...

But as I understood it, I could find my music in the cloud right in the Music app.
It looks like nothing shows up there, and I have to go to iTunes and then individually download the stuff I want.

Am I just wrong about this feature, or am I doing something wrong?
