What is the difference between iTunes in the Cloud VS iTunes Match?

I was reading this

and it says:

"iTunes in the Cloud. iTunes now stores your music and TV purchases in iCloud and makes them available on your devices anywhere, any time, at no additional cost. "

So if I can stream all my iTunes music to my phone for free.... why would anyone pay $24.99 year for iTunes match?.... i'm confused

Match is for songs not obtained through iTunes... I think it will help one have a clear consciience if one bought their Beatles collection on the street corner for $5.

If you purchased all your music and TV shows from the iTunes Store, there's no need for iTunes Match. But if you ripped it from your own CDs or got it from any other source, you need iTunes Match to get it into iCloud.
