iTunes + iPod music playing bug

I was listening to Grillz by Nelly in iTunes on my PC, and I wanted to start up the same song as I switched over to my iPod, I tried it twice from spotlight, the second time after having closed every app and it still crashed, paused the song on iTunes tried it again and it worked.

anyone else experience this?

My iPod was plugged into itunes the whole time, btw. running iOS 5.0.1 and iTunes 10.5.1.42 x64

It appears you computer is rejecting the fact that you still listen to songs 2006.

Check for software update!
