Are you syncing through iTunes and have iCloud enabled? If so that’s probably why.

Well, you must be one of the only ones because if you check the boards, there are others dealing with the very same issue. I am connecting via finder. I spoke with Apple and they said that they realize it is an ongoing problem and to simply delete the added list. =(
