Hello

my wife and I use the same iTunes login to share music and apps for our iPhones. I bought an album on her iPhone yesterday, now I want it on my own iPhone. The thing is that iTunes is showing to buy again, and not only download. Should I press buy or my credit card will be billed a second time?

I was wondering if this is an iCloud issue. Do I have to setup my wife's iPhone iCloud to back on iCloud (which doesnt right now) so I can have that album?

thank you

make sure you are logged into itunes store (settings>store, and click on your id) using your shared itunes login email. Everything else should be your seperate icloud account. Sometimes when you set up icloud it seems to change it on you. dont forget, in the same spot, you can set it to autmatically downlad new apps, music, books.

Well, I've just spoke with an Apple tech over the phone and because both iphones aren't synced on the same computer, the music can't be transfered!

I don't believe the tech. You can re-download iTunes purchases. Since you use a single Apple ID for purchases (and if both computers are authorized to play that content) you can download or re-download to either one.

However, Home Sharing allows you to copy items from either iTunes Library to the other computer which saves you the download. Sync her phone to iTunes on her computer, copy the music your computer using Home Sharing, then sync it onto your phone.

I have the following problem, recently noticed:

Automatic download works fine from iPad / iPod -> Mac but not at all from Mac -> iPad / iPod.

Everything is set up correctly on both iOS 5 and MacOS, I can't even manually download a purchase (made from MacOS) in the purchase screen in iTunes iOS: there is the artist on the left panel, but no tune on the right panel.
