Yosemite 10.10.2 and iTunes 12.1. Cannot close iTunes with the "quit". Always need to force quit, sometimes I get the spinning color wheel while in iTunes

Ideas?

Does this happen in any other user accounts?

Try repairing permissions.

djxpress, were you able to resolve this issue? I have had the same thing happening for weeks now, with identical crash report output.

yes, restarting the computer fixes the problem for a short while
Also can do a Force Quit

This does help, though it is certainly not a fix.

Do you notice that it happens more frequently in some locations or on certain wireless networks?
