iPod Itunes keeps synching same songs to ipod nano

hi all.

title says it all.

I keep getting the same 120 songs synched up to itunes beyond the new ones i just added.

i havent edited them at all an d even went so far as to disconnect and reconnect to see if it does it again. it does.

any thoughts?
