ITunes keeps syncing unwanted songs

Hi I sync only a specific playlist and I am constantly seeing songs that I did not add to the playlist show up on my iPhone.
More specific, Christmas songs that I have unsynced.
And they still show on my iphone

Have you got the "sync with random until device is full" button turned off?
Not sure where it lives anymore, but It's there somewhere.
